SOME DETAILS

BLACKBEAR™ is a next-gen IoT company that creates, designs, and builds customized user-centric enterprise (EIoT), industry (IIoT), and consumer (CIoT) solutions.

The brand identity is based on a bear face with a third eye/ Extra Sensory Perception (ESP) ability. The initial concept was designed based on diamonds through geometrization by Gustav & Yannick, then developed further by Sifiso to create a more industry-relevant identity that aligns with the predetermined brand attributes during the ideation phase.

SKILLS & TECHNOLOGIES

Geometrization was used to create the initial icon concept. We then used the golden ratio to create the bear face icon from the initial geometrization icon concept. We then defined the brand through the 4 brand attributes (voice, culture, benefit & values). Finally we had a clear creative direction and created the entire brand identity together with brand elements.

All in all we used Miro, ClickUp, Pinterest, Illustrator during the ideation phase, then Photoshop & Illustrator during the design phase.
